Join Yakarah Styles for a hair care lesson for teens. Learn how to moisturize and style your own textured hair. This includes day-to-day management, some basic styles teens can wear and perform on their own hair, and maintenance education. Best suited for ages 12 and up. Boys and girls welcome. Hair must be taken out of any protective styles, washed, and ready for class. No prep work or styling will be done by the stylist. Instructional lesson only! Your teen will work on their own hair.

In this class, you will learn how to do basic cornrows into a ponytail and learn how to finish off the style. Your parting technique will be practiced and perfected in this class.
Level 4: Advanced Hair Care Workshop "Just Twists" with Yakarah Stylz

Levels 1-3 are prerequisites to register for this workshop. In this class, you will learn how to combine free-standing double-strand and flat twists into a style. Materials needed include a rat tail comb, shine n jam, and hair pins.
